Privacy Policy
This policy describes how PetPetAgent collects and uses information for our desktop app and billing website. PetPetAgent is local-first: most chat and agent data stay on your device unless you use networked features.
What we collect
- Account details (such as email) when you sign in
- Billing identifiers and subscription status from our payment partner Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Operational data needed to deliver credits, digital goods, updates, fraud prevention, and support
- Technical logs such as IP address, device/app version, and error diagnostics when you use online features or contact support
Local-first processing
Conversation history, agent settings, skills, and Hermes-related files are stored primarily on your machine by default. We do not require uploading your full local chat history to run the core companion experience.
How we use it
We use this information to operate PetPetAgent, fulfill purchases, authenticate users, prevent abuse, comply with law, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your personal information. Stripe processes payments; their privacy terms also apply to checkout.
AI providers you choose
Prompts, files, or tool results you send to third-party LLMs, Hermes gateways, or connectors are processed under those providers’ policies. Review each provider before sending sensitive data.
Sharing
We share data with processors required to run PetPetAgent (for example authentication, hosting/CDN, and Stripe). They may process data only for contracted purposes. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention & rights
We retain account and billing records as needed for the service and legal obligations. Contact us to request access or deletion of personal data we hold where applicable. Local files remain under your control—delete or uninstall them on your device to remove them locally.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age required by local law to consent without a parent or guardian. Do not provide children’s personal data knowingly.
